November-Auction closed with sound result
“Dein Wunschtraum” sold at Euro 45,000

Totally about 1100 horses were sold in Verden in 2007. The total annual turnover exceeded 20 million Euro. “This is an important economic signal for the whole breed area,” breeding manager Dr. Werner Schade said.

Dein Wunschtraum by Don Frederico/Don Primero (breeder: Annette Witt, Stelle – exhibitor: Dieter and Jens Röbken, Rastede) was the top-priced horse. The three-year-old dressage prospect was sold at Euro 45,000 to a dressage stable in North Rhine-Westphalia. The four-year-old For Keeps/Laptop-daughter Felina (breeder: Annegret and Volker Ahrens, Vollersode – exhibitor: Volker Ahrens, Vollersode) was the most expensive show jumping horse, purchased by a buyer from Baden-Wuerttemberg.

The four exclusive brood mares were sold at averagely Euro 14,250, all of them being purchased by Hanoverian breeders from foreign countries. State premium candidate Farina by Florencia/Akzent II (breeder: Peter Borgs, Bad Oldesloe – exhibitor: Anja van Hoorn, Leer) was the top-priced mare and sold at Euro 27,000 to the United States.
