The Hanoverian Riding and Driving School belongs to the Verband. It puts emphasis on the training of horse and rider. Clinics for riders are offered throughout the year - for beginners and advanced riders, for "Reitwarte" and "amateur riding teachers".

Beside these clinics also stationary mare tests take place at the Riding and Driving School.

Our offer comprises courses in lunging, riding and driving as well as special further education in dressage, show-jumping and the training of young horses.

We lay particular stress on theoretical lessons. Besides general instruction in riding and driving respectively we also deal with subjects such as the keeping and judging of horses, basic veterinary knowledge and the study of sports. Teachers are not only the employees of the riding and driving school, but also veterinarians, employees of the Hanoverian Society and further experts.

We offer courses for beginners as well as advanced students, some only for pupils in their holidays. The offer includes short courses of three to five days as well as in-service training courses of up to 19 days length. In our course for starting young horses we do particularly care for the correct lunging and breaking in but are also dealing with the further work of the horse in accordance with the scale of training, based on the guidelines volume 1 and 6.

In our courses in driving you are offered the opportunity of learning to drive from a horse in single harness to four in hand.

Accommodation:
Private accommodation within walking distance from the riding and driving school is available for all participants.

Meals:
Meals are taken at the nearby Hotel "Niedersachsenhof". Participants can choose full board, half-board or breakfast, whereby arrangements should be made on the day of arrival.
